A rebel fighter in Libya, armed with a rocket-propelled grenade, kept watch at an intersection at the western gate of the eastern city of Ajdabiya. Col. Muʿammar al-Qaḏḏāfī’s forces kept up with their attack on the besieged eastern city of Misrata, though the concentrated most of their firepower in the front lines, rather than the city. They also continued to threaten shipping lanes into the port, the city’s life line.
